Ms. Carla Dickerson, “The Scholarship Lady U.S.” (formally The Scholarship Lady DC) is an 18 year veteran of helping families navigate through the college admission maze and is an expert in advising students on winning scholarship money for college. Ms. Dickerson was given the name “The Scholarship Lady” by her students early on in her career while serving as a college counselor in the Prince George’s County Public Schools in Maryland (2000-2004). In her tenure at Surrattsville HS, she garnered 4.5 million dollars in scholarships & grants. “The Scholarship Lady U.S.” ventured out on her own in 2007 as a counselor for the U.S. Military soldiers on Andrews AFB in MD. There she tripled the graduates for the Community College of the Air Force. As a private consultant with the Prince George’s County Schools, she doubled scholarships at Forestville Military Academy and posted 6 million in scholarships at Central HS (2010-2011) for the Federal Gear-Up Program. The Scholarship Lady’s private SAT/ACT camps helped the graduating seniors 2012- 2018 generate over 2 million in scholarships. “The Scholarship Lady D.C.” became “Dickerson Scholarship Lady US” in 2018 and has expanded her services nationwide. Ms. Dickerson feels that providing national Scholarship/College Readiness and ACT/SAT workshops, partnering with various non-profits, educational institutions, and corporate partners will ensure that vital information is disseminated to students and families; providing real opportunities to making college/post-secondary education, “a reality, not only a dream.
